EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are excited to host the 2023 International Classes Regatta this weekend and can't wait to welcome you all.  In this newsletter, we've put together some information we hope will help you with the weekend ahead.  Please continue to check the Event Webpage and On-Line Notice Board for updates in the lead-up to the regatta.  
LIST OF ENTRIES

A list of entries can be located on our Club's website.  We are regularly updating.  If your details are incorrect, please email the On-Water Team to advise of any changes.  A check will also be made at registration.  Please note the importance of ensuring the sail number you are using during the event, matches the sail number you registered and sign on with.

VOLUNTEERING 

We have had a wonderful response from people wishing to volunteer for the 2023 ICR.  

The Volunteer Listing can be viewed here.  There are still a few gaps to be filled, please sign up and help us where you can.  The yellow highlights indicate where we require volunteers.  If you refer to the tabs at the top of the Volunteer Listing, you can tab to the on-shore volunteers.  We need some help with barbecue cooking on Saturday & Sunday morning as well as on Sunday afternoon.


Please register through using the button below or email the On-Water Team and let us know of your availability. 

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
ON-WATER SUPPORT / COACH BOATS

Coaches and parents who plan to support their sailors on-water in a private vessel, please complete the online registration by clicking on the button below.


We will have a number of overnight berths available - both on our Main Jetty and selected pens. Please complete the on-line registration here or alternatively, email the OnWater Team.
COACH/SUPPORT BOAT REGISTRATION
CAR PARKING 

Manners Hill Park located across the road from the Club has been booked for ICR regatta parking.  Parking within the Club grounds will be congested and will be reserved for members only.

Non-member regatta participants will be able to access the grounds for boat drop off, we ask that you then please park your car on Manners Hill Park.

Trailer parking will be not available on the Club grounds.  However, there will be limited trailer parking for regional sailors on request.


BOAT RIGGING AREAS

Please click on the button to view the Boat Rigging Area map. It is important boats are rigged in the designated areas.

REGISTRATION AND GATE OPENING

Gate Opening:   Access through the gates can be made by pressing the button on the Control Panel on the right hand side as you approach the gates.  However, the front gates will open from 17:00 - 18:30 on Friday, 1 December and from 06:30 - 09:00 on Saturday morning. Please leave your boats on the Dinghy & Training Centre lawn in the areas specified on the Rigging Map. Boats may be dropped off prior to Friday if this is preferable.

Registration:  Registration will be from 16:00 - 18:00 on Friday, 1 December and 08:00 - 09:00 on Saturday, 2 December. At registration you will:
  • Have your boat details checked ie:  Sail Number, Boat Name etc
  • Received an ICR Regatta Shirt
  • Receive a Trolley Identification Tag
  • Receive a laminated Course Sheet
  • Optimist Intermediate & O'pen Skiff Intermediate to receive a pink ribbon
BREAKFAST AT THE CLUB

Delicious Bacon & Egg rolls will be available for purchase from 07:30 on Saturday and Sunday mornings for $6.00 each.  In addition, we will have fruit and yoghurt cups on sale.
CANTEEN

The canteen will operate from 07:30 - 17:30 each day.

A reminder lunches are included in the entry for competitors.  If you require additional food, there will be a selection of food/drinks available for purchase.  

The canteen will accept cash, credit card or member card for purchases.

PRE-REGATTA OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS

We have some pre-regatta open training sessions in the lead up to the regatta.  All competitors are welcome:

For those on Facebook or Instagram, please be sure to use your hashtag #ICR2023 so we can share all the good news and photos from the weekend.  We will have a drone operator out on the water, so keep a look out for some great video footage.
SLIP, SLOP & SLAP

The weather is looking fantastic.  It will be warm, so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing, keep yourself well hydrated, apply the sunscreen and wear a hat.
